As a recipient, Department of Human Assistance’s, Foster Grandparent Program was awarded $5,000! Senior Nutrition Services provides a daily lunch meal to the elderly at congregate meal sites and the home delivered 'Meals On Wheels' program.
The mission of Senior Nutrition Services and its Meals on Wheels program is to support and maintain the independence and dignity of older persons in their homes and communities and to prevent their premature institutionalization through the provision of a nutritious noon meal five days per week.
